ABOUT KIDS EXPO
Kids love to watch other kids. They inspire each other. Seeing a local dance troupe, martial arts exhibit or learning about a new sport or activity makes a young person think, "Hey! I can do that, too!" That's one of the things that Kids Expo is about.

But Kids Expo is also about highlighting Madison and the surrounding areas to families. Showcasing family-friendly events, businesses, nonprofit organizations, tourist destinations, products and services, Kids Expo is a one-stop-shop for parents to learn about the great things that are available in the community all year round.

With 120,000 square feet of space, there will be plenty of grand exhibits and hands-on activities for the entire family. And with new and exciting changes, this should be the most informative Kids Expo that Dane County has ever hosted. A major change this year is that Kids Expo is now free and open to the public, making the experience affordable for all Madison area families. And for the first time, Kids Expo has a charity partner. The event benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison!

This is also the first time the event is owned and produced by Madison Festivals, Inc. (MFI). MFI is a non-profit 501c3 organization that produces and develops events in the greater Madison area such as Madison Marathon and Taste of Madison. Our events are designed to enhance the quality of life for residents, showcase the area to visitors, and provide assistance to local charitable organizations.

We hope you find this year’s Kids Expo to be stimulating, fun and informative. After all, it’s our goal to make events that are “Fun for you; Good for Madison!”

Thank you!!!
